Tree House Brewing opening waterfront taproom on Cape Cod

Following the initial opening, and after finalizing further parking plans currently in the works, we will slowly and controllably scale the volume of people enabled to enter each day. The total number of draft tickets sold each day will not be driven by our legal occupancy but by ensuring we have a safe, laid back, reliable, and controllable environment for neighbors and the public to enjoy. Per the agreement, the brewery can have 19 customer parking spaces next to the building, but the rest will have to be provided offsite with transportation to the brewery. In the meantime, residents will work with the town to establish a residential parking program.

Beer,

Guests pre-purchase tickets in advance to gain entrance in waves, and we actively control and limit the volume of people who may do so. Tree House aims to have the new location open by summer of 2021 “pending the state of the coronavirus pandemic,” and plans to have food trucks. The to-go program must end by 6 p.m., according to the Cape Cod Times, and the brewery must limit customers to three beers per person between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The town hasn’t received a lot of feedback from residents about the brewery opening, Dunham said.

Thereafter, we are hopeful to secure more walking-distance parking to further facilitate the ease of visiting. For servicing beer-to-go, Tree House has adequate onsite parking for guests. Tewksbury Beer To Go requires orders to be placed in advance and a specific time slot to be reserved. Tree House Brewing Company - Sandwich menu has been digitised by Sirved. Comfort food,

Following the successful implementation of our beer to-go program, we will open for draft with heavily reduced occupancy. Right now, given our current plan, we expect to gain occupancy for less than one hundred guests at any given time. Guests will need to pre-purchase tickets in advance to gain entrance in waves, and we will actively control and limit the volume of people who may do so. The facility will include a taproom with resident food trucks and Tree House beers to go as part of an On The Fly distribution service. The website says the company intends to open the facility "sooner" as an On The Fly location, or curbside pick-up of beer cans. In a communication to local residents, Tree House founder Nathan Lanier shared their plans for a slow opening and steady commitment to ensuring a safe capacity.

Hours

The brewery taproom is expected to open by summer, pending the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the company’s website. For the remaining hours, guests enjoying pours may purchase beer to go but it will be from a limited inventory with greater limitations. All Tree House servers carry TIPS certification and are highly trained and experience with recognizing the attributes of intoxication. Additionally, per guest drink tickets will be limited depending upon the day of the week or time of day.

The support and enthusiasm for our brewery from Sandwich residents, in the many conversations we have had since November, has been heartening. We are glad to have met you, and we look forward to offering a memorable sliver for you to enjoy this summer and beyond. You may not be familiar with us, so you have questions - that is completely understandable. It has been our pleasure to prepare this information for you and hope that these clarifications will assuage you with a better understanding of how we will approach our opening and continued operations. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that our brewery will be a valued addition to the Sandwich community for many years to come. We are glad to have met you, and we look forward to offering a memorable experience for you to enjoy.

The location will have about 258 seats, with an occupancy permit for 500 people for both indoors and outdoors. The brewery will also include a deck overlooking the ocean, and the adjacent parcel at 3 Freeman Ave. will be developed to be an outdoor beer garden for on-premise consumption, the pouring license said. On Nov. 19, the same real estate company bought 5 Freeman Ave., the closest beach house adjoining the property, for a little over $1 million. With close proximity to dozens of local cape attractions, Tree House Sandwich is a jump-off point to many of the Cape’s enormous charms. It could also be an end point because enjoying the sunset from the deck at high tide is something to behold.

Tree House Brewing Co. announced Thursday it is opening a two-story taproom in Sandwich, with large decks with views of the boardwalk and Town Neck Beach. The plan is to sell coffee and breakfast at the brewery in the mornings, too, helping the owners get the most from the property all day long. In the end, Tree House Brewing will probably need space for additional coolers or a place to brew more beer on-site if they wish to meet their goals.

Beer with a view.

It’s worth noting that to start, Tree House Brewing will have minimal capacity. Many questions surround this new taproom, and we don’t yet know how it will look. However, numerous restaurants have operated out of the building at 98 Town Neck Road, so it will be the location of the taproom. In short, this is one of the most scenic spots on the Cape, and Tree House Brewing is turning it into a taproom that could accommodate as many as 500 people inside and outside the three-story, 7,760-square-foot building. Only a few years ago, you’d be hard-pressed to find more than a couple of breweries, but today, you can find a local craft beer in nearly every community. I was greeted by a friendly older woman upon walking in and see gave good information about the different floors and pizza ordering.

This brewery aims to provide perhaps the country’s most scenic place to enjoy a beer and will become a focal point for those spending time near the Cape Cod Canal. The brewery, which is slated to include an outdoor beer garden, food trucks, as well as indoor seating and a morning cafe, has yet to open, and has been operating to-go service only throughout the summer. When Massachusetts-born Tree House Brewery bought a property in the idyllic Cape Cod town of Sandwich last fall, it announced plans to open the outpost in the summer of 2021.

They have big plans for the future, but we’ll have to wait to see what they entail. COVID restrictions could also keep capacity down once the taproom officially opens, so having a pre-ordering process can eliminate lines outside the building and alleviate parking concerns. So, you’ll head to their website, order the beer you’ll want to sample during your visit, and then show up during your allotted time.

Tree House Sandwich is phenomenally different; we know this, and we know why. It has a tiny cooler capable of holding just a few pallets of beer and serving an order of magnitude fewer people. We understood this when we purchased the building and have been considering it ever since, spending north of six figures on a custom application to control it. This custom application will enable an order ahead model without first-come-first-served service.

Tree House Cape Cod currently employs 36 individuals, including our taproom manager and assistant managers. We carry a great deal of pride to bring well-paying jobs to the Sandwich community.

I went upstairs with the nice view and ordered a few amazing beers from Ben and Bob who were very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. The vibe was great, Alex Cohen was entertaining everyone playing and singing well known cover tunes. The words on this page were written by me; not our PR department, because we don’t have one.
